Global warming is becoming more serious, even to the point that the IPCC reported that greenhouse gas emissions must be reduced by 40-70% by 2050.
It is predicted that regulations on the amount of building energy consumption will become even stronger in Japan as well. In order to keep building energy consumption at suitable levels, it would be essential to raise the sustainability of not only companies, but that of society as a whole.
Nikken Sekkei Research Institute has launched an energy management group. Experts with a significant record of achievements including commissioning, energy-saving evaluation, ESCO, support for certification by the Tokyo metropolitan government as a top-level business facility, support for complying with energy regulations, application for CASBEE certification, and subsidy applications, will provide clients with support throughout the life cycle of their buildings.
