Innovation of Historical City with Pedestrian-friendly Solution

Summary

This project involved the detailed urban planning and building guideline studies for the central business district (CBD) of Ho Chi Minh City. Resulting from an international competition and continuing on from its city-wide urban master planning engagements, NSRI was commissioned to conduct this study by the municipal government and provided full support through the legal urban planning decision making process with its many affected parties.
In reviewing standard planning criteria such as building volume and height restrictions, communicating the theoretical planning process facilitated establishing a smooth consensus among the parties involved.
