Urban Innovation by Digital Technologies

Large-scale redevelopment is currently being underway in the Sannomiya district in Kobe City. The sophisticated area management system using digital technologies such as AI and IoT has been implemented in the underground shopping mall named “Santica” located at the center of the Sannomiya district. Here, we are aiming to build an information platform that collects various urban information using IoT sensors and manage them in an integrated methods. Moreover, we are aiming to enhance area management by utilizing AI and to create innovative solutions in the fields of environment, economy, and society.
