In our population-declining society, it is crucial that we move from expansion-oriented urban development, which was based on the concept of growth, to development that strives to raise urban quality for the creation of added value while maintaining urban functions suitable to the age.
To do so, rather than continuing with urban development under rigid, government-led urban policies, it would be important to advance urban development under private-public partnership, which makes the best of the strengths of both the public and private sectors.
We will engage in public-private partnership measures that are based on the perspectives of both the public and private sectors, and will also support the development of various projects for urban renewal.
